This past Valentine's Day, my aunt gave the kids a little toy and also $5. On the way home from her house, the conversation went a little like this:
Cate: "I want go to store!"
Me: "Why, Cate, what do you need?"
Cate: "I dunno but I gots money."
Matt: "Well, Cate, we can put it in your bunny bank at home!"
Cate: "No, Daddy, I gots money and I wanna go shopping at store!"
Only three....and the diva attitude and love for shopping has already begun! Oy, Vey!
PS...this was extremely ironic as my aunt is the queen of shopping and unbeknownst to her this was Cate's reaction to her gift.

That's so cute. My girls were always that way too. Money just burned a hole in their pocket and they had to spend it as soon as possible.
Linda would be soooooo proud.Let's hope that Cate can stretch a dollar as far as Linda can.
That is quite quite cute!!!!!!!!
I love it!! She is starting early!!
And so it begins. Buckle up, it's a long ride. :)
A girl after my own heart!
