This was taken at my in-laws house on our recent trip up there. We were in the basement and heard shrieks and laughter and came up the stairs to find this! My parents and I still laugh about the fact that I NEVER was given my most coveted toy...a sit and spin! Great photo, and congratulations on number 3!
Okay, Allison--you are going to think this is the weirdest comment on your blog for today, but I am going to comment on the rug in the picture!
I have FOUR of the exact same rug. I inherited them from my Grandmother. They almost 60 years old now.
We have two HUGE ones and two little ones.
I even had an original ad from a magazine about the rugs that my Grandmother had saved.
I've never seen another one anywhere.
We took the two little ones to be cleaned (at a specialized rug store/cleaner/repairer), and the lady was rattling off all this information about them.
The two larger ones need repair work and a good cleaning but because of their extreme size, I just have never been able to afford it.
Tell me a little bit about these rugs? Did they always own them? I'm still in shock someone else has "my" rugs!
