This year was the first time we went to Breakfast with Santa at our new country club. It was also Will's first time to visit the big man in red. I had my fingers crossed that he wouldn't freak out like Max and Cate have done in years past. Last year, they had separate encounters since Max saw him at his Polar Express birthday party and I took Cate to the mall Santa one day while he was at school.
The older two had the wishes ready to reveal to him. They both want bikes this year (thanks to some positive suggestion from us...LOL). They have picked out the ones they want. So, they described them to him in detail. Cate made sure that he was clear on the fact that she wanted the Barbie bike WITH the special zipper pouch on front as well as pink sparkle streamers!
After our visit with Mr. C, we had breakfast, decorated cookies, and watched Mrs. Claus' puppet show. It was a really fun morning and I can't wait to continue this tradition next year.
