So, today I was awoken by Max asking where the food coloring was!
Why did he need food coloring I thought to myself. After about 5 minutes, he came back in and said he wanted to make green eggs. As I rolled myself out of bed, I came up with a plan for my dad to offer to get donuts instead, thus saving me from having to make that disgusting concoction!
However, that idea did not fly and he proceeded to whine. I told him that if he didn't stop the whining, he really wasn't going to get the eggs.
Next thing I know, as I am getting the eggs out of the fridge, Max runs up to me with green all over his hands!
My heart stops as I have absolutely no idea he had the food coloring out and even worse had no idea where it was NOW!
I scream, "Where is the bottle?" to which he responds in a whimper, "on the couch".
OMG, my rage bubbles up as I run to our couch to discover in great relief that the bottles have not leaked on the cushions and the lids were in tact.
Needless to say, the morning did not start off well, but here is to hoping that with him at summer day camp today, this raging red momma can cool down and laugh about it later!
And no, the green did not wash off his hands, so I am sure he'll get lots of questions today at camp as to why his hands are green!

Oh no...my heart skipped a beat for a second. Thank goodness it wasn't on your furniture. That stuff does not come out for a while. Is he calling himself the hulk?
Sounds like the couch was saved just in time! Was he inspired by Dr. Seuss?
