On this playdate last week at their house, we found Cate pushing Elizabeth in the swing. It was so cute. They have even become protective of each other. Elizabeth has just begun going to our church nursery (Cate has been going since 9 months old) and was a little leery of this new environment, but Cate was that constant friend and a reminder that she has her back. This past Sunday, Elizabeth came into the nursery and didn't get upset. She and Cate played the whole time and before she knew it, Mommy was there to pick her up!
This just goes to prove that friends are something we all need! They make us feel joy, excitement, love, comfort and even protection!
So, I challenge you to go out there and make contact with a friend and let them know you have their back!

Friends are so important. How special that Cate has found someone like that already. What a great capture of their friendship.
What a precious friendship! A magical WW to you!
That is so sweet. I love seeing friendships develop in little ones. My son, at 14 months, is just starting to really notice my friend's son, who is 18 months. They were playing together over the weekend and it was adorable to watch.
How sweet and how lucky that Elizabeth has such a good friend to look out for her :)
