As you probably have seen in this blog....I am a Disney nut!
Our big trip is only 5 days away and I will be quite busy the next few days leading up to the trip getting things done around the house, packing, getting the dog to the sitter, etc. So, I won't have much time to post!
So, during these next days counting down to our vacation, I am going to post some fun Disney moments. They may be a past trip of mine, a funny Disney story, Disney quotes, Disney songs, Disney vacation tips, well, you get the drift.

My personal Disney vacation tips:
* Visit the Walt Disney World Moms Panel . This is an online forum of qualified moms and dad answer your questions and offer advice for your planning your Walt Disney World Vacation.
* My personal favorite Disney planning guides are Birnbaum's Walt Disney World Guide (the only "official" guide endorsed by Disney) and The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World.
* If scheduling permits, go during non-peak times of the year (ie, Jan/Feb, late Apr/early May, late Oct/Nov). There are fewer crowds because of school being in session and rates are often (but not always) lower. You can usually get some great deals during these times, too!
* Plan your dining options ahead of time. Many restaurants book up very quickly, so you don't want to NOT plan your full-service meals (ie. Character meals) ahead of time and then risk not getting the meals you want when you get there. Call (407) WDW-DINE to make Advanced Dining Reservations up to 90 days in advance.
* My favorite tip to give families traveling to WDW is...once in the parks, have a meeting place in mind in case you get separated. However, have it be a location that is very specific and not the central most popular place in the park. For example, plan your meeting spot to be "to the left of the Haunted Mansion entrance" and NOT "in front of the Castle". You have a better chance of finding your party among the crowds.
