Daisies

Yesterday was the monthly worship celebration at Max's school. This month, his class did the program. The service was for May Crowning (the crowning of Mary as the mother of God). Their program was about the meaning of all the flowers you might use to crown Mary.

Max was a Daisy and it stands for gentleness.

I knew that some flowers had meaning but I didn't realize they all stood or represented something.
Pink Carnations - "I will never forget you"

Daisies - Gentleness

Red Roses - Love

Sunflowers - Devotion

Pink Roses - Grace

Red Carnations - Admiration

Chrysanthemums - Truth

So, that is "What I learned this week"! For more posts, visit Jo-Lynne at Musings of a Housewife.

Great pics! I learned something today too. I only knew about roses and their colors but didn't realize that other flowers had meanings.

I vaguely knew they all stood for something but I had no idea what it was. That is so cute to have the kids representing different flowers.

That is so sweet. I just love this little school. Your gentle boy will make a great catch one day!
