Nope not a post about how Cate copies everything Max does...even though she DOES do that! She is literally his little shadow. No, this is my recipe for my Cinnamon Monkey Bread! My mom would make this every so often growing up and I always loved it. The first Christmas Matt and I were married, I decided to make it on Christmas morning. It was such a hit and knowing we wanted to start new traditions for our own new family, it became one! I have made it every Christmas since! In fact, we will be staying with family this holiday season, but they know how important it is to me and have said they will buy me the ingredients so that I can make it there! My hope is that my kids will grow up and expect to have it every Christmas morning and remember it fondly as something special!
Cinnamon Monkey Bread
3 cans (10-count) biscuits, quartered
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tbsp cinnamon
2 sticks butter
2 cups packed brown sugar
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a Bundt pan. Mix the pecans, white sugar and cinnamon together in a pie dish and set aside. Melt the butter and brown sugar on low heat and put aside. Dip each quartered biscuit in the butter mixture (be careful, mixture will be HOT, best to use a fork). Then roll the biscuit in the cinnamon sugar mixture and drop in the Bundt pan. Once all the biscuits are in the pan, sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar on top and drizzle the remaining butter mixture on top, too (note: you may not have any extra, that is ok, too)! Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Invert onto a plate and serve hot/warm.
I hope your family enjoys this gooey, sweet, warm treat for the holidays or anytime you wish to serve it! Happy Holidays.

I've never made monkey bread but I love it. I should try this sometime!
That sounds so good...totally needing a sweet fix now. What a wonderful tradition for your family.
That sounds delicious. I think I'm gonna have to try this one!
Looks like a great recipe!
I love monkey bread-huge fan! I will buy the ingredients and you can come to my house, too!!
No nuts here but it sounds YUMMY! Eat an extra piece for me!
Yep! This is a good one, but no nuts for me please. We would have it every Sunday morning if we got up in time before church. It's also in my cookbook which, btw, I'm giving away this week!
I'm glad you posted the recipe, b/c I was drooling after reading about it in your award post! I haven't had breakfast yet...that sounds SO yummy!!
Yum! My sister makes it with cream cheese in the middle--delish!
I saw this recipe on the Southern Plate. This is a great one to do with the kids. I am going to leave the pecans out but will be making this with my son.
